We woke up early so we could swim in the pool before breakfast. It was a tad cold….at 7.30am….We left Bordeaux after breakfast in the hotel. The children tried a few French breakfast items which we had never seen before. We left at 10:25 filling up with petrol near the hotel and drove along the toll Motorway to Toulouse. We got to Aeroscopia (aviation and Airbus museum) at 13:30 and parked in front of the Concorde!! We drove past the massive Airbus production facility which is next to the museum.

We spent two hours at the Museum and enjoyed seeing the French exhibits and learning about the aviation industry and history in Toulouse. Many firsts came from here, first supersonic airliner, largest commercial airliner (A380).

There are two Concordes on display and many other interesting aircraft. We went in a Concorde and a A300-B4 and saw the presidential suite, bed and bathroom and all. We also saw a massive A400 cargo plane and went on a Super Guppy. We also saw two huge Airbus Belugas landing, there are only 5 ever built and they are used to transport parts of Airbus planes from Wales, Germany and Spain to Toulouse for aircraft assembly.

We left the museum and went for a late lunch at a nearby McDonalds as we were all starving by now. This McDonalds was the slowest in history and we ate after waiting for about 20 minutes for our ‘fast’ food!

We arrived at the hotel around 18:30 and the children went for a swim in the pool (which seemed very cold). We had dinner in the hotel at 20:30. Dano loves his burgers here and keeps having mango sorbet which he loves. Becks loves the French chocolate ice cream.
